Window In a Book

Creating a window or a door in your book takes a little more planning, but it is certainly a fun feature to consider! This is actually an accordian book, with both ends attached to the binding. The window has a book within a book in it.

Accordian Books

You might consider using this format - an accordian book, because you can work on the individual pages, then join them together to tell a story, or to show various themes that you are researching.

Mayan Codices

This image shows what very old Mayan books looked like. You can see how they were bound together in an accordian style.

Taller Leñateros, «TheWoodlanders’ Workshop», is an artisan society of Mayan women and men who produce handmade paper, artist books, silkscreen and wood block prints, pansey graphs, natural dyes, and magic spells.
